CNN had its most-watched day in the Network’s 40 year history with last week’s riot at the US Capitol in Washington. Its average viewership that day exceeded the previous record set on Election Day 2016 and even eclipsed the coverage on 9/11. During the storming of the Capitol itself, CNN averaged nearly nine million viewers and kept up its advantage into primetime.
The manager for actor Chuck Norris says the “Walker, Texas Ranger” star was not present at last week’s deadly riot at the Capitol. A photo of a man resembling Norris, apparently with a member of the mob, began trending online. His manager acknowledged that the man looked somewhat like Norris, but said, “Chuck is much more handsome.”
Spike Lee’s daughter and son have been chosen as the Golden Globe ambassadors. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Tuesday morning that Satchel and Jackson Lee will assist with the 78th Annual Golden Globes awards ceremony in February. They’re the first siblings of color to hold the position.
