In the UAE, members have been able to choose between the Pfizer and the Sinopharm jabs.

The £40,000 fee covers membership, first-class flights on Emirates, and accommodation in a sea-view apartment as well as the jab.

Speaking to the Telegraph, founder Stuart McNeill said his wealthy clients can get around Britain's ban on non-essential foreign travel during lockdown because they have "business meetings" in Dubai.

As of this week, members can also get the Oxford/ AstraZeneca vaccine in India for the same fee.

For this trip, clients are offered a villa with a pool, a personal chef, and household staff.

Many opt to stay in the country they flew to for the 21-day wait between vaccinations – but many opt to fly somewhere else for a holiday.

Asked about the moral implications of allowing the wealthy to buy their way to a vaccine, McNeill said he hasn't sold a package to anyone under the age of 65.

"I feel that everybody who has access to private [healthcare should be able to be vaccinated] – as long as we offer it to the right people," he said.

"It’s not just been our members, but their parents and their grandparents as well.

"If you’re a 35 year old young chap who goes to the gym twice a day, you’ve got no chance of getting the vaccine through us. That’s for sure.”

It comes as efforts continue to secure enough vaccine doses for the first phase of the rollout in the UK.

Speaking at Prime Minister's Questions yesterday, Boris Johnson said vaccinations would soon be taking place 24/7, but that "at the moment the limit is on supply".

The government has said it aims to vaccinate all the most vulnerable people and frontline medical staff – a total of 14million people – by mid-February.
